WHO WE ARE?
Polaris Foundation is a nonprofit organization, incorporated on June 25, 2004 before the notary Juan Isidro Gancedo del Pino, recorded in the Register of Non-Governmental Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and seconded Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECI), their accounts regularly audited by an independent entity and a Code of Conduct adopted by the Board at its meeting on July 17, 2007.
The Polaris World Foundation for Cooperation and Development Aid is the most genuine of the company's commitment Polaris World with human development, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. Is a true testament to the will of the company to promote equality among people, through international cooperation for the development of peoples, communities and people with fewer resources, less access to education and great difficulty accessing water, either for human consumption, either as an essential engine for development and agriculture.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Pioneer in the commitment to human development in sub-Saharan Africa, the Foundation funds projects Polaris World development exclusively in the poorest countries in the world. Those countries that the United Nations Program for Development (UNDP) ranked every year in countries of low human development and only recently received more support from the official Spanish cooperation.
With the desire to improve the concrete living conditions of the most disadvantaged communities, the Polaris World Foundation provides funding for projects and programs focusing on issues that often have little support from other funders.
